Express Entry Program

The Express Entry program is Canada’s leading system for managing skilled worker applications for permanent residency. Using a points-based Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS), it evaluates candidates on key factors such as age, education, skilled work experience, and language proficiency. Express Entry covers three economic immigration streams: the Federal Skilled Worker Program, the Federal Skilled Trades Program, and the Canadian Experience Class. Applicants with the highest scores are invited to apply for permanent residency, offering a fast and efficient pathway to build a future in Canada.

Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP)

The Federal Skilled Worker Program is designed for skilled professionals who wish to immigrate to Canada based on their foreign work experience. Applicants are assessed on factors such as age, education, work experience, language proficiency, and adaptability. This program is ideal for individuals with strong professional backgrounds who can contribute to Canada’s economy and workforce.

Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP

The Federal Skilled Trades Program is tailored for individuals with experience in skilled trades who want to become permanent residents of Canada. Eligible applicants must have qualifications in a recognized trade, meet language requirements, and either hold a job offer in Canada or a certificate of qualification issued by a Canadian authority. This pathway is a great option for tradespeople looking to settle and work in Canada

Canadian Experience Class (CEC)

The Canadian Experience Class is designed for individuals who already have skilled work experience in Canada. It provides a pathway to permanent residency for temporary foreign workers and international graduates who have integrated into the Canadian labour market. This program recognizes the value of Canadian work experience and offers a faster route to permanent settlement.

Express Entry Latest Draws

Express Entry draws are conducted by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) to invite top-ranking candidates from the Express Entry pool to apply for permanent residency. These draws typically take place every two weeks, though the frequency may vary. Each draw specifies a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score, and candidates who meet or exceed this score receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA). Draws may be general, targeting all programs, or category-based, focusing on specific occupations, skills, or language abilities that align with Canada’s labour market needs.
