Nova Scotia to See Increase in PNP Allocations This Year

Nova Scotia is set to receive a significant increase in its Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) allocations this year. Immigration Minister Lena Diab announced during a news conference in Halifax that the federal government has expanded the number of nomination spots available for the province.

Earlier this year, Nova Scotia’s allocation had been reduced from 3,570 to 1,785, impacting many applicants waiting for nomination opportunities. However, in a positive turn, Ottawa has now boosted the allocation by 559, bringing the total number of nominations to 3,709.

This increase reflects the growing demand for skilled workers and the province’s commitment to attracting newcomers who can contribute to its thriving economy and communities.
